All effects, wipes, fades, grayscale color theme, etc. are period. All stock footage and images are period. Music is from the 1955 original cast recording of "The Boy Friend" ("Overture" & "Carnival Tango"). The subtle radio broadcast sound bite is from an actual April 1949 radio broadcast. You can tell that the higher-resolution photographs look much better than some of the ones pulled off the internet. There's not much I can do about that unless they're obtained and scanned at a high resolution. I steered away from the effect on Ralph's voice and any added effects on the images since those were the most important things to communicate without "interruption."
