Performance Experience

She played in the Vermont Philharmonic Orchestra for 25 years. She played first violin, assistant concertmaster, Principal 2nd, and Principal Viola (last 9 years).

She performed with the Gabriel Piano Trio and served as a substitute for several string quartets.

Until August 23 of 2013, she was the first violin in the Borealis String Quartet for 22 years.

She played first violin in the Montpelier Chamber Orchestra for two years.

She was the music director for “Oklahoma,” “Damn Yankees,” “Into the Woods,” and “The King and I.” She played in the pit for many more musicals, mostly done by the Barre Players.

Played violin and viola with the Western Piedmont Symphony from 2007 to the present.

Played violin in many theater productions at Hickory Community Theater and The Green Room.

Diana has since retired. She was a priceless addition to Hickory Arts and was available for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced lessons in Viola and Violin.
